Singapore

After crossing the border we get the bus station and the driver says "everyone off"'. I tell him that they told us that this goes to the airport and he says no. I said that is the whole reason we bought these tickets and we asked again before we got on, and they said yes. He said "no, get a taxi". I got very upset and called his company liars and theives. He didn't care much. I hate blatant liars. So we got a taxi. That cost $10 because it is 2 am. But the cab was so clean and nice. So was everything else we saw on the way to the airport. Welcome to Singapore. He dropped us off at the airport and we decided to put all the stuff we don't need in my pack and just store here until we get back a week from now. That way we don't have to worry about the safety of all that stuff. It's amazing how little stuff we actually need to travel. Linh's pack was light as a feather. We still have all our camping gear that we haven't used for months.
This airport is really nice and has free internet and cushy chairs and it is 6 am now. We have to board soon and we have a layover in Sri Lanka. From there on to Delhi!
Just a few things about Singapore. The little bit we saw of it was very clean and neat and orderly. The cab was tip-top, so clean you could probably eat off the seat. This is a stark contrast to where we are heading, India!
